Tony’s family tells him he is entirely over-educated. He has 2 bachelor’s degrees and a medical degree form Memorial University of Newfoundland. He has an MBA from the State University of New York at Binghamton and graduated cum laude with a law degree from Creighton University School of Law. A a lifelong learner, he has used his education as the foundation to build his business and people’s skill.
After working as a family physician he became a medical director of a managed care organization and then became Chief Medical Officer and Senior Vice President of a Fortune 500 company. He has had several university academic faculty appointments and most recently taught in the graduate school in the Health Care Professions at Creighton University.
Tony is proud to have started several successful businesses but his most useful education came from attending the school of hard knocks as a young man. Always learning, he thrives on helping people reach their potential as individuals and in their workspace. He especially enjoys helping businesses with: Human Resources and Talent Management, Risk Management, Personal Coaching Operations, Arbitration and Negotiations, Health Care Benefits, Up sizing, Down sizing, Mergers and Acquisitions.
In his spare time, Tony is a marathon runner and keeps 11 bee hives. He is active in his parish church and he often travels with his wife Maria to Guatemala for medical missionary work. He is competitive tournament chess player and he really hates to lose. He begrudgingly admits, though, that his family is probably right; he is entirely over-educated.
